The Remastered version of the first game is on PSN, and it's great. GR2 is better, but the first Gravity Rush (especially the Remastered version) is incredible in its own right. And yes, you'll get to do lots of fun flying around (including some amazing aerial battles that don't really have all that many analogues in GR2).

Gravity Rush is the ONLY game I've ever played that gave me motion sickness. I would suggest to play the first one and see if itās kinda your thing. Characters, art style, world building, are full of charm, gameplay is kinda clunky since combat is quite simple. Totally not worth playing.
I struggle to think of a game that improved so much with a sequel. The creator was also the creator of Silent Hill, a game dealing heavily with occult ideas.
